VertebrALCUE in the RAES magazine

An article on “The process of building up the ALCUE space from below and the challenges for the VertebrALCUE partnership” was recently released in the issue no. 3, dedicated to Quality and Social Inclusion in the University, of the RAES - Argentinean Magazine on Higher Education, published by the University Tres de Febrero, a member of VertebrALCUE. New Associated Partners 2010

With reference to the Call for New Associated Partners, which closed in June 2010, the following partners did successfully integrate in the VertebrALCUE network. Few more are still in the process of finalising their adhesion and will be published as they do so.

The Project

The VertebrALCUE Project aims to contribute to the development process of the regional integration among Latin American Higher Education Systems (HES´s) and the implementing process of the Common Area of Higher Education between Latin America, the Caribbean and the European Union (ALCUE in Spanish) by exploring and strengthening different levels of articulation of Latin America-Latin America and EU-Latin America academic cooperation through the design and implementation of a cooperation infrastructure at institutional, national and regional level.
Through this cooperation infrastructure, the Project will contribute to promote the establishment of structural and lasting links and networks among Higher Education Institutions in LA (LA HEIs) and between LA HEIs and EU HEIs, through specific pilot actions and activities that will be carried in the ALCUE Units that will also embody the action’s result.
